Fall Inspired worksheets

This season, we're excited to share a collection of fall-inspired worksheets designed to engage young minds and spark their imagination. From autumn element hunts to creative writing prompts, these activities will not only keep kids entertained but also help them embrace the beauty of the season. 1. Leaf Matching Activity Instructions

Print the Matching Sheet: Print out the leaf matching sheet with images of different leaves.

Look Closely: Study the pictures on the sheet.

Draw Lines: Using a pencil or marker, draw lines to connect the matching leaf pictures.

Check Your Matches: Review your connections to see if they’re correct!

Share Your Work: Show your completed matching sheet to your educator!

2. Fall Elements Counting Activity Instructions

Look at the Paper: Take a look at the sheet that has pictures of different fall elements, like pumpkins, squirrels, coyotes and acorns.

Count Carefully: Count how many of each element you see.

Write the Numbers: Under each picture, write the number of items you counted. For example, if you see 4 pumpkins, write the number 4 under the big pumpkin.

Check Your Work: Make sure your counts are correct!

Share Your Findings: Share your completed sheet with your educator!

3. Pumpkin Coloring Activity Instructions

Grab Your Supplies: Take out your crayons or paint.

Follow the Color Guide: Use the color guide to color the pumpkin as shown.

Get Creative: If you want, feel free to paint the pumpkin in any colors you like!

Have Fun: Enjoy making your pumpkin unique and colorful!

4. Counting Activity Instructions

Look at the Pictures: Examine each picture on the sheet.

Find the Number: Look for the number on each picture.

Color the Boxes: Color in the number of boxes that matches the number for each picture.

Double-Check: Make sure you’ve colored the correct amount!

5. Reflections

 On your reflection sheet, write down at least three things you are thankful for. They can be people, experiences, or even small moments.

6. Leaf Hunting Activity Instructions

Grab Your Sheet: Take the leaf identification sheet with you. It has pictures of different leaves, acorns, and squirrels to find!

Head Outside: Go to a nearby park, your backyard, or any area with trees.

Start Searching: Look around for the leaves that match the ones on your sheet. Can you find them all? Don’t forget to keep an eye out for acorns and squirrels, too!

Collect & Compare: If you find a leaf or an acorn, gently pick it up and place it in your bag. If you spot a squirrel, take a moment to watch how it moves and what it does!

Share Your Discoveries: Once you're back home, compare your finds to the pictures. Which leaf or acorn was your favorite? Did you see any squirrels playing? Discuss your observation with your educator
